Located 62 kilometers away from the beautiful city of Chania, is the village of Temenia, one of the most picturesque and mountainous villages of the prefecture. This village is situated at an altitude ranging from 700 to 1100 meters above sea level, offering stunning views of the surrounding nature and landscape.

The village of Temenia was formerly part of the community of Temenia and was distinguished for its beauty and traditional architecture. Today, it belongs to the municipality of Kantanos-Selino and hosts about 40 permanent residents, who live harmoniously with nature and the tradition of the region.
